Style of divider and spacing before/after each foot or end note;

Single or double spaced numbered lists and block quotes;

Indented or hanging indent numbered lists and block quotes.

Margin height and width;

Fonts and font size(s);

Contents of the book:  front material, end material, bibliography, index, etc.;

Bibliography: select, suggested reading, or full;

Chapter, heading, and subheading styles;

Footnotes or endnotes;

Number of spaces between sentences;

 

Often an author will need to make decisions about issues of style that are not determined by publishers’ guidelines.
